who we are

1 Peter 3:3-4 has always been one of our favorite verses that we have prayed to imitate throughout our lives. It says, “Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.” These verses inspired us to create Live Defined as they encourage us to focus on inner beauty, peace, and gentleness over anything external. Our prayer is that through reading this you know that you are defined by the God who created you. In the same way, we want our clothing to serve as a daily reminder that you are known and marked by a God who sees you, and loves you deeply.

The heart behind Live Defined is to create inspired merchandise that represents something much bigger than a piece of clothing. Each design is created through a piece of Scripture, as we believe that Scripture changes everything. We pray, with all of our heart, that our designs are a source of hope during this time, while serving as a reminder of what really matters, and all that is to come.
